The terminal features a modern Terminal Management System (TMS) that integrates ticketing, scheduling and real-time information displays to facilitate efficient operations and provide passengers with up-to-date travel information. The TMS is also linked with multiple bus operators, ensuring smooth and coordinated services.

What we do
At Penang Sentral, we have been appointed by Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) as the system provider for an extensive project that spans 18 months. Our responsibility includes developing and designing a cutting-edge system tailored to meet the unique requirements of the terminal.
As the system provider, we have implemented a comprehensive Terminal Management System (TMS). This robust system features several critical components:
- Centralized Ticketing System (CTS): Centralized ticket sales and integrates with 65 bus operators for seamless transactions.
- Terminal Operating System (TOS): Manages bus traffic flow, platform allocations to minimize idle time and ensuring efficient operations.
- Public Information Display System (PIDS): Provides passenger with real-time updates on bus schedules, arrivals and departures, enhancing their travel experience.
- Taxi Management System: Facilitates the organization and dispatching of taxis, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both passengers and drivers.
